Final T-ball Game

Well, tonight was our final T-ball game and while it's certainly one less thing to worry about every week, I guess I'm gonna miss it. It was great seeing all of the kids improve from the first day of practice (when we were talking about how to hold and throw a baseball) until tonight when we actually got three outs in an inning (including Corey snagging a one-hopper and beating the runner to first base!) and probably about seven for the four-inning game!

Afterward we had a pizza party with cupcakes and drinks thanks to Carrie and Lynette (our "Team Moms"). Coach John and I received great framed team photos that all the kids signed, and the kids received ribbons and certificates from the league, trophies from Lynette and medals from Coach John. I hope all the kids had fun (I know Corey and I did) and maybe we can do it again next year! Gooooooo ... FALCONS!

Bobo in Kansas City

Papa sent us some photos from our visit in Kansas City, so we thought we'd share them. Here is Brody playing with his cousins Ben and Grace. I believe the ball was the worse for wear afterward, apparently losing a collision with a thorn bush!

After playing, we went to the Train Pizza Dinner Store (featuring two of Brody's favorite things)! Brody also got to spend some time with Aunt Julie one day while everybody else was working, spent some time at Nana's day care and Papa's office and, of course, helped Nana track down cats ... especially Smokey Joe ("Mo-key! Mo-key!").

We're looking forward to seeing all the grandparents in the next few weeks. Corey's last day of kindergarten is May 22 ... only 7 more days!!!

Bobo in Nappanee

Brody and I survived our 11 family members and three flights in six days whirlwind tour of the Midwest, so I figured I'd post some photos.

Bobo was quite the hit! He had his picture taken with four generations of Sinclairs (above), with Aunt Debbie (right) and with Grammy. When he wasn't having his picture taken, Brody was "counting" giraffes, including this one that Corey made for Great Grandma Sinclair (below).

Brody also had fun playing with Aunt Debbie, Kristin (a.k.a. "In") and John (a.k.a. "On"). He also read books with his "Car cars."

When we arrived at Nana and Papa's house in Kansas, Aunt Julie, and cousins Ben and Grace were right behind us (so close behind, in fact, I hadn't even unpacked the camera yet, so we're going to rely on Papa for photos of the three of them).

And, of course, Brody LOVES getting "Iggy ack" rides from Daddy, so here's an adorable photo of our boy after a T-ball game before our trip.

Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Love,

Brody, Corey, Carrie and Rob

P.S. Yes, I'm pretty sure this is the first Phoenix Sinclair blog posting ever that didn't include a photo of Corey!
