Corey is "Someone Special" this week

I know, I know ... I said the same thing: Corey is special every week. But, as it turns out, Corey is "Someone Special" this week at school. "What does this mean?," you might ask. Well, he got to bring home Weekend Bear this weekend and wrote in the diary what we did. Tomorrow he's bringing in "Mystery Bag" (with a team photo of the Coyotes) that the class is going to try and guess what it is. Another day this week he's bringing in his favorite book (good luck chosing one!), another day he needs to fill the "Estimation Jar" with something for the class to guess how many there are and another day he's bringing in his favorite snack.

As far as a blog update goes ... Corey and I went to the Coyotes-Blues hockey game last night. As we were waiting in line to trade in our coupons for free tickets for being a Howler Kids Club member, somebody walked up to us and gave us two tickets in the lower level across from the Coyotes bench! He just said, "There great seats. You guys will have more fun, so enjoy the game." And we did ... especially since Bryzgalov had a shutout. It was an early start time (6 p.m.) which was nice since Corey wanted to stay until the very end.

It sounds like Carrie and the boys survived while I was in Kansas for a couple of days last week. While I did enjoy seeing snow, the minus-7 wind chill while waiting for the bus to the rental car place at the airport was a rude awakening. The photos of the three of us above was taken at the Hand of Hope suite for the Coyotes game last week. The photo of the two boys was taken on Valentine's Day (notice they're both wearing red?) and Brody also is sporting his new Wild hat from Grammy and Grandpa. Also, here's a photo of Corey doing some of his favorite things: eating, drinking milk, watching TV and savoring the fact that he can climb onto the couch all by himself!

Cute pictures (although I'm pretty sure it's Brody, not Corey, sitting looking happy eating and drinking).

Yeah, I guess you're right. They are hard to tell apart!
